A few days ago I posted a topic about using the closed eye method to help pull out of a slump. I also said that I would use this method on our scratch league sport shot and post the results, so here it is.
First, some background information. we bowled on a longer oil pattern, 42'with 26 to 50 units of oil gutter to gutter. The lanes are wood with lane shield overlay, pins are old wood averaging 3# 8oz. The pair we bowled on were the end pair located against an outside wall. The outside temp. was 26 degrees F, 52% inside humidity.
The mean average of the 6 bowlers on this pair(four right handed, two left handed) was 172.3 for four games. My individual average was 172.5. The high series was 734. What do you think, is this method worth developing as another tool in a bowlers arsenal?
