some balls with more surface
« on: September 09, 2009, 06:07:59 PM »
Hello, I am a lefty has above average ball speed and average hand. I also attend a college that is sport bowling competitive. I was wondering if people knew of some balls with surface that seem to work well from the left side that can also handle oil. Currently I have a Sauce that I took down to 180 for those rare times where patterns are long and volume is heavier. I also have a Virtual Gravity that I really don't like. Anyone else have any suggestions on balls that could be great with surface?

Assuming you're not biased to any particular company, maybe consider the Motiv TR2.  It comes at 800 grit(US I think).  You could also try a Jigsaw and take the surface down on that.  There's the AMF Mega Friction as well.
