Last night the house pro shoots 2teen the first and second game. So he comes up to me and says something about not having a good look tonight. I say "so get another ball." He laughs. He checks the pro shop and digs up an original Nitro. Throws the next 12 dead flush. AARGH!!!!

Sometimes going to another ball can be like starting over. A new line can bring new life into a bad set. Sometimes you just get tired of "fighting it". Yes, some guys make it seem all too easy though!

I shot my 300 after having a couple of decent games with another ball but not scoring as well as I thought I should have. I think I had 227-200 at the turn. So I pulled out another ball and shot 300.
So sometimes it is the ball - it gives you a different feel, a different look on the lanes, carries differently, reacts better to the heads and/or back ends, etc. It's not always the Indian - sometimes it's the arrow.
