I bowl anymore at centers that have medium to light oil
One (oiler)guy told me the pattern is 30 foot 10 to 10 and then a christmas tree cut in over the last 10 feet. The pattern would be considered a real wet dry with VERY jumpy midlanes on these pro anvilane centers.
Considering over the last 3 years in both of these same owned centers there is one 300 game by a lefty total in only one center and about 20 a year on the right for a total of 60 it is what one would call "righty heaven"!
But that is not the point of this post. All of a sudden I'm starting to be able to score. Each of the last few weeks I've started a game with at least a 7 bagger!
And I believe it is being done easily because of some of the equipment changes I have made.
The 3 solutios that seem to really be in play right now are.
1. My Dynamic Groove pearl. This ball is played in the dry at one center somewhere from 5 to 8 and straight up the boards or a slight swing. This ball is designed to go straight to it's breakpoint with no midlane and then has lots of energy for it's big backend. Bingo! Always energy always hit. The question, does it find the dry spot at the breakpoint to make it's move, if yes, explosion. If no,.....straight! Big hit if it matches up! Drilled 4 X 5.
2. Columbia Panic. This is an absolute gem. As I'm telling people it is the perfect Pulse. Earlier than the Blue pulse, later than the red with about 2 more boards of backend than the red. This ball drilled also about 4 X 4 3/4.
This ball revs up hard without really hooking in the midlanes and then makes a HARD driving arc! This ball reminds me of my Super Sledgehammer drilled 3 3/8 X 1 for control but it will handle light amounts of carrydown and still hit. The Sledge with the above drilling needed flying backends to supply the hit.
3. Intense Inferno. Even though this has only been tried a few times it looks like a winner. Drilled weak say 5 1/4 X 5 this ball is stacked with pin over ring and polished to a high gloss with Brunswick Factory over 1500 grit sand. This ball with this drilling is driving straight to the breakpoint just like the Dyno groove above. However the coverstock is trying to bite still in the oil pattern essentially taking out some of the over under of the hard shelled Dyno! This coverstock wants to dig in but the core look reminds me of Battle Zone Bullet(yest that silver spare looking big hook pearl from Brunswick that had a lot of length. Lots of easy length combined with a strong angle but with out the big kick off the breakpoint. A smooth but sharp angle! Big hit if motored with speed.
Maybe this will help someone!

PS the Panic revs harder than both above but because of the low flare core it does not want to move much in the midlanes! GReat!
PPS other balls I've tried on these conditions and just not got this type of response of these for sure great two(Dyno and Panic) and the Maybe great Intense.
