some people are really really low

so i was bowling a regional win a spot tournament in newark ny,

and i was thowing my Original Inferno.. I didnt like the reation i was getting so i set the inferno aside and pick up my absolute inferno...  

everything was good, i was bowling good and havin a good time and after my squad, i go to pick up my original inferno and put it in my bag and guess what,,  its missing....  all my other balls were there but that one....

i talk to a few guys who said that some guy was looking at them but they never thought anything of it.. well come to find out he took it  and is no where to be found......

How low can you possibly be to go thru someone elses stuff and take something right in front of people....

Basically, all i  want is the ball back.......

if any of you guys out there are pro shop operators in the newark, geneva, or canadaigua ny  area, and u see a left handed 16 lb single drilled with yellow inserts and a slug with a vent hole, come into the shop with a requested to plug and redrill the ball, please let  me know....  do not plug it or do anything with it because it is most likely mine....

also the span is 4 5/8 by 4 3/4 the pin is under the bridge and the cg kiced out about 2 - 3 inches with a weight hole on my axis.............

PLEASE if you see one. let me know

ur tellin me,  i got the center owner to call all the local proshops to keep their eye out for it.....  i hope i get it back  unharmed.....  that ball has more sentimental value than anything, i got my first sanctioned 300 with that ball.......  if i do get it back i will prolly never throw it again...  just so i can make sure i get to keep it

pissed isnt the word.........   i dont think there is a word to discribe it...


all i knoe is anyonther ball in my bag and it woild have been a lil easierto swallow...  hell if the guy would have asked me if he could have a ball, i prolly would have given him one.....  just not that one.....  the big blue pearl of mine i would have easily gave it to him

i dunno  all i know is i guess i have to order a new one monday if i can still get them

do you have the ball numbers registered with some tournament or another? I know some require that you give them the number, and so you might be able to get it that way and give pro-shops a better idea of what the ball will be.

i guess now i will have to hire a body guard just to watch my bowling balls while i bowl.  lol      thats about as funny as its gunna get for me........  i just hope i get a phone call monday or tues saying they found it.......

if not......  oh well i'll manage......  

And   I need to get a Big THank YOu to Doug Kent for going out of his way to get a a hold of the pro shops in the area....  he is a very classy guy   and a true professional  Thanx again Doug

 I live in seneca falls and sunset in geneva is my home house. I have a tourny tomorrow and I'll talk to Pat(pro shop guy) about the situation and see if anything turns up. Hope you get it back.

You might keep an eye on some of the auction sites as well - eBay, bowling websites, etc.  The individual may be after money as much as he could be after the ball itself.

Sux that this happened.  I hope you get your ball back, not to mention getting the opportunity to share your displeasure with the thief.

Man I'm sorry to hear about that too, the guy who stole it was definitely a low-life. Hope you end up getting it back.

Reason # 89877177320019 you should catalog all of the serial numbers for your bowling balls.

There aren't that many pro shops in any one town & if you give them a serial # of a stolen ball, every one that I've talked to is more than willing to assist.

Brian -- Check with the pro shop that drilled it for you.  I record the serial number of every ball I drill for this very reason.  --  JohnP
