I wanted to update everyone on the ball raffle that we held last month for the Wogernese family.  After a nice trip to Disney Chad started a new chemo protocol in an effort to perhaps stretch his time until Christmas.  I chatted with his wife on Monday night and other than some anxiety he appeared to be doing well.  However something changed the next day and by Wednesday at 2pm Chad had passed.  Keep his family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported their trip.  They were so thankful to have had that trip to share with their kids before this happened.

As far as the favor...and I promise this is a little bit happier....

Dr. Pepper has a huge tuition giveaway each year for college students.  They look for people trying to make a difference and have overcome adversity.....I feel like I qualify.

For those that don't know I went back to school 3 years ago after my career evaporated and am currently a Junior at UGA majoring in Science Education.  Since my son's diagnosis last year I have become a loud advocate for childhood cancer research, continued to run my pro shop, and managed to keep my GPA up over 3.85....oh yeah and deal with Jake...and our other 2 kids.

Anyways I need your help....PLEASE vote....and PLEASE share this with your friends on facebook/twitter...etc.
