Tournament lineup
« on: February 21, 2007, 02:32:16 AM »
I'm going to bowl a 4 person Swiss (1 pioint for each person who beats their opponent, 2 for team totals) event in 10 days, with a 750 cap.  To put together a team with the three who bowled this event last year we added a 107 average.  This puts us 23 under the cap.  The lineup is predetermined (2d hi, 3d hi, low, high average) so the 107 will bowl against the other team's lowest average bowler while the other three (204, 198, 218) will bowl against the higher averages.  I'm somewhat optimistic, as the 107 guy has raised his average 6 pins in the last 3 weeks (he's learning to throw straighter and becoming more accurate - still misses too many spares).  How would you feel about your chances?  Me, I'm optimistic.

Looks like you have a good lineup, especially if your low average bowler can continue to improve and get hot in the tournament.  Sounds like a fun format for a tournament.
