I won't post this persons name but these are just a few of his honors scores per USBC. Things just don't add up. There's credit for a 800 series but not for the eleven in a row and credit for a 300 but not for the 800 twice. All of this in less than a week. The dates are supposed to be the date bowled so don't respond by saying maybe someone forgot to turn in the paperwork.

11 strikes in a row 299,278,258,837     USBC     5/29/2008     Coconut Bowl
800 series        299,279,258,836    USBC    5/29/2008    Coconut Bowl
300 game        247,300,279,827    USBC    5/28/2008    Coconut Bowl
300 game        300,278,258,836    USBC    5/27/2008    Coconut Bowl
800 series        267,258,289,814    USBC    5/27/2008    Coconut Bowl
800 series        279,290,235,804    USBC    5/26/2008    Coconut Bowl
11 strikes in a row 278,290,289,857    USBC    5/25/2008    Coconut Bowl
800 series        278,290,289,857    USBC    5/25/2008    Coconut Bowl
300 game        257,258,300,815    USBC    5/24/2008    Coconut Bowl
300 game        300,248,255,803    USBC    5/24/2008    Coconut Bowl
800 series        259,278,279,816    USBC    5/24/2008    Coconut Bowl

It's not possible to get a 299 with an 11 in a row award.  It's a 299 award.

11 in a row is 1st frame miss, 11 back from there out.  That's why it might not show up like that.

I shot 299 this year and received an 11 in a row award!

As far as I know there isn't an actual 299 (or 298) honor score anymore . It is just called 11 in a row..Rings awards are for 300 and 800. And a desk trophy for 11 in a row.

That bowling center is one of the easiest in the world to bowl in.. I know a few guys bowled a TNBA there awhile back and lit it up! Quite a few 300/800s out of there! It really doesn't surprise me. Would like to know the name though

Fero Williams? He shot something like 25 800s during that season.

May as well quit bowling if the house is that easy.  I mean seriously.......

He was there for a TNBA tournament only. Lives on the other side of the country.

Not disagreeing that the two guys are probably really really good but what makes this house so easy? I mean you can only do so much with the shot..
pins, gutters, sideboards ??

J_w, I have no idea. I have not personally bowled there before. I know quite a few people from the Reno/Sparks area and all they have told me was stories about how easy it is there. Then anyone who bowls there tells me the same and they are putting up huge #'s!

I looked at a few of the scratch league sheets on league seretary dot com and Didn't see anything too crazy.. one league had 9 300's .. but looked like the normal range of averages.. I don't recall seeing any 800's in the leagues I looked at..
