I think it is just a matter of time before we see a new marketing ploy from bowling ball companies.  

How long will it before we see the "Brunswick Card", "Track Card" or "Storm Card"?  Think about, Walmart, Target, KMart and just about everyone else has their own company credit cards.  They could give extra "bonus points" to you when you purchase one of their balls with it.  

I think it just a matter of time before we see this happening.  It will probably be a Visa or something that you could use everywhere but you could still get bonus points for purchasing equipment from the specific company, thus encouraging you to purchase more.

Just a thought....

Andrew: glad to see your back in action.  Got a lot of new faces on the board while you were gone.  Still stationed in Minot?

And yes, good marketing ploy if for no other reason that to keep a customer.  Us cheeeeep bowlers wouldn't waste the points available when buying a ball by switching to another company.  

Bookmark this, may have some "patent" rights to the idea when they come out with it.
