PBA Shark
« on: October 18, 2010, 06:33:22 PM »
Okay, so I averaged 183 for 4 weeks on the Chameleon. The next pattern my PBAX league is putting out is the Shark. I have 3 good oil balls: Bounty Hunter, Prodigy, and Revolver. I'm a stroker, 270-300 RPM, 15-16 MPH ball speed. I come around the ball a bit.

Bounty Hunter - 5" pin to PAP, pin over bridge.
Prodigy - 4 1/2" pin to PAP, pin under bridge.
Revolver - 5 1/4" pin to PAP, pin over bridge.

Not sure what type of synthetics the lanes are, but they are newer. I usually have a good backend reaction on their house shot, so I'm thinking the backends are relatively clean. I have read that you want a ball that gets into a roll, and then make sure you keep your speed down. I'm going to attempt going straight up 10. Which ball do you suggest I use, and at what surface? It's a 3 game league, so I could bring all 3 and a plastic ball. Just trying to get some opinions.
