How much will a different finger pitch affect my release?
« on: January 30, 2006, 05:52:53 AM »
I ask this because my arsenal is right now being fitted with 1/2" reverse as opposed to my previous 1/4" reverse due to some finger pain.  The one thing that has been really holding me back in my game is an inconsistent release.  How big a difference could a different pitch make?  I have really felt recently that I'm doing everything else better than ever before, but my inconsistent release is leaving me mired in the same average range.  Can I expect a much different feel for a mere 1/4" difference??

Thanks for all the advice, guys, I'll find out later today how that new pitch works out for me. Now that I kind of realize pitches are at least partially trial and error, I'm not so worried about finding a new driller. I do like this guy I'm going to a lot, and he's giving me great service!

If that truly is so then he should be able to solve all your questions and issues.

Alright guys, just so you're sure I am going to a good guy...this is who recommended him to me, my Uncle.

And the only reason I didn't ask my driller the question about it affecting my release is because I dropped the balls off on my lunch break, had to rush around to do it, and didn't think of the question till I got back to work.  Hence I asked all of you.
