Oh what a relief it is
« on: June 29, 2015, 11:05:15 PM »
Not to have to decide what color of ball I want.  Not to have to decide what kind of cover I want.  Not to have to decide what grit to sand it.   Not to have to decide what cleaner and polish I need to use.  Not to have to decide if and what color of finger inserts I need to use.  Not to have to decide if and what kind of thumb insert I need.  Not to have to decide how to hold the ball and release it.   Not to have to decide what kind of shoes and soles I need.  I forgot, still have to decide what brand of ball, shoes, inserts, etc.     By the time I did all that "deciding", I'd be too tired to bowl.

Well at least you have that going for you...

I know an 85 yr old senior bowler like that.  All of his balls are black, 16#, either conventional or semi-fingertip (I'm not sure which), no inserts or thumb slugs, still at original factory finish (or what the lanes have left them at) and between 30-40 yrs old.  Not sure about his shoes, they may be newer than that.  :)
