I've never really given any thought to this, but it came to me this morning and I began to wonder.
Where is the source of power/momemtum generated from?
I mean once the approach has begun, the push off completed, the follow through has been achieved, and the ball has been released from the bowler's hand?
I have heard in the past that some open bowlers, or non-serious bowlers mention their arms hurt after three games. Even had a few tell me they rather just use their arms instead of putting their bodies into it. I've been able to bowl much longer sets than alot of people I know of, so does this mean I generate the momemtum needed to throw the ball down the lane from my body?
Is it possible to bowl in such a manner where you use your body instead of your arms? Would this also take into consideration an increase in power at the pocket having more energy delivered down the lane. Keep in mind I'm speaking of energy transfer and not overall velocity .
This is merely just a thought compared to other bowlers who appear to be literally throwing the ball down the lane.

In the old days people used to cut wood with axes.....................now and days...............they just have Executioners do it for them!
Pin_Krusher IS a serious threat to modern day bowling wood as we know it today.
