South PBA Region Champion determined tomorrow

I want to wish my good friend Jason Sterner Good Luck tomorrow as he attempts to hold off Kip Roberts, and Jason Hurd to claim 1st place in the South Region and earn a spot on tour for 08,09.  Sterner has a 3k pt lead over Kip Roberts and a little over 10k i believe over Jason Hurd.  After today, Hurd was in 5th, Sterner 7th, and Roberts 8th.  They bowl round robin tomorrow and then cut to the top 5.  Also, good luck to hometown favorite Steve Haas, hopefully he takes it easy on Sterner...Would like to see them 1 and 2.

Hopefully Jason Sterner gets that exemption and makes us all proud. I talked to him earlier this week and told him that he needed to whoop some *ss. Still wishing you good luck bro, I'm pullin for ya.

Hope to see Don Stephenson on tour in a few years. Really nice guy.
I expect to see a show out of Sterner next season!!!

I couldn't have written a better ending to this story...Jason Sterner locked up the South Region today by finishing 2nd place to my other good friend Steve Haas.  Way to go Jason and Steve.  Sterner will make a huge impact on the tour now that he got his foot in the door.

There was another post stating that Kip Roberts locked up the region with a round of 8 win over Sterner. Who won the region? Roberts or Sterner?

Sterner won the South Points race...I saw that post your talking about on the PBA forum today and couldnt believe that considering they were bowling round robin.  That guy got a lot of conufusion stirred up.  Roberts finished 9th today.
