I was hoping the old faithful could help. I like most here have been bowling since I was a kid, I'm 23 now and want to learn how to drill balls. I was thinking of purchasing the Fitting and Drilling guide from BTM. Will this help get me started? I don't really have a proshop driller I could learn from. I was planning on going to a few of the classes after reading the book. I don't want to own my own proshop rather understand layouts and be able to drill my own equipment once in a while. I was hoping you all could help. Thanks.

I didn't see the reference to a Fitting and Drilling guide in BTM. Is it the Bill Taylor book? If so, I agree - it is well worth the price you will pay for it. If not, I'm not familiar with it, so I can't comment.
