I ordered the Donkee 3/4 Horse Power Spinner a few ago and it has not disappointed. I was advised to make sure I went with the 3/4 HP because anything less such as the 1/2 and 1/3 just weren't as good.

I live in Michigan and I made my order and got the spinner in 7 days all the way from California, they give you the tracking number and you can track it UPS all the way to your house.

I paid $362 for the 3/4 HP, with a splash guard, and the 4 abralon pads.
I'm real cool with my driller so he hooked me up with a ton of extra sand paper that you can buy from Autozone, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. He also gave me a half bottle of the Ebonite Factory Finish Ball Polish. That stuff is sickening, I love it. Just dont get blue, get the white, it will turn your white grips blue and any little gashes you have in your ball also, but nothing really major.

I don't have the glove but I imagine it would be helpful but definately not a need. I do just fine holding my sand paper with my hand. I cut pieces to fit my palm and sand away. The abralon pads are perfect because they fit your hand well and are really easy to use.

I've learned how to resurface balls and now Im flying like an Eagle. They help to really keep your balls clean and looking pretty. If you arent into buying every new ball that comes out then you wont need to with a spinner because you can maintain them longer.

I highly endorse the 3/4 HP spinner from Donkee. It's teh 2 speed spinner (450rpm & 650rpm) At 650 it gets going pretty fast so you will need to mount it to something. If you have a basement or garage, then you can buy one of those big white utility tubs that a lot of people have near their washing machines. They work very well. I live in apartment and dont have the room so I take mine outside and I have a rubber mat that it sits on and it works well for me. I sit in a chair and make it happen.  

The extra money is definately worth it. You wont use it as much as they do in a pro-shop so you wont put the wear and tear on it like they do. It'll be solid for 10 years and maybe more depending on how much you use it. It does make a bit of a mess though so wear old clothes.

I have the Vertex 1/2 hp model. I just worked on three balls last night, doing various things to each in terms of surface and/or polish, and I can't see why anyone would say 1/2 hp won't do the job.

Common sense would say if you can get the RPMs up to a healthy rate (which my 1/2 hp Vertex will), then pressure is going to matter more than further increasing the RPM. I was able to go light, average or heavy with my pressures and it never affected the ball speed.

The Vertex spinner is built like a tank, doesn't vibrate and fits like a glove down inside a Rubbermaid tub, which means no splashing. Considering it's roughly $150 cheaper than the Donkee, someone would have to really convince me there was an advantage to spending the extra coin, because I don't see it.

I've not used the Donkee product personally, but I have used other Donkee products in the past and wasn't that impressed.
