Title: Sport shot leagues
Post by: Nollster on January 08, 2004, 06:21:48 AM
One of the local centers posted a summer sport shot league and I'm thinking of signing up.  What can I expect from this type of league?  While I'm just getting back into league bowling, I'd like to experience something different.

No mound of oil in the middle, and more on the outside than you're used to.  The ball goes where you throw it.  Miss left and it will probably cross over.  Miss right and you might take out the 6-9-10 or leave a washout if you're lucky.  Speed and rev consistency is very important.  Most people like less jumpy equipment and drillings.  Don't expect big strings of strikes.  Spares will be more challenging and more important.
