Hey everybody. That May 14-15 Super Sport Championship that I've mentioned on here before is only a month away, so I wanted to give all the details. I really hope some of you can make it. This event will be our venue to celebrate the return of integrity to the game. Please make this event a priority if it isn't too much of an inconvenience!
Where? Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park. I'll have hotel deals soon and will let everybody know in advance.
When? May 14-15. 3 Qualifying squads on Saturday--10am, 1:30pm, 5pm. Each squad is limited to 60 entries.
Cost? 10am squad costs $80/members and $85/non-members. Other squads cost $90/members and $95/non-members. All re-qualifiers pay $80. Additional $10 fees for later squads go directly into prize fund and are in place to encourage bowlers to bowl the A.M. squad.
Payout? $1500 1st prize if we get 100 entries, $2400 if we get 180 entries (full squads).
Side Action? We'll have pots and brackets, ball raffle, 50/50.
Sweepers? I'm still working on doing a Sunday sweeper for those who do not qualify, probably at another location. We may also hold a sweeper on Saturday night which may be followed by pot games for those who aren't sick of bowling yet! Info coming soon.
Please contact me to pre-register and hold your spot to bowl. I really think we will get at least 100 entries and would LOVE to get 150 (50 per squad).
