Springfield Missouri and surrounding areas
« on: December 19, 2006, 01:08:53 AM »
Hey all I'll be in Springfield Missouri from the 23rd-28th of this month and would love to meet and possibly bowl a couple of games with some folks. Sixcranker and I are going to try to hook up when I pass back through Ok on my home. I would love to meet some of you Oklahoma folks as well! If that doesn't work, I may be back in Missouri again from 3-ll Jan as well but that is not definite. Once again, I would love to meet some of the great members of this board. Happy Holidays to all and good fortune to you in 2007!

Are you going to be in Springfield again on Jan 3-11?  I am in the KC area, and might be able to come down then.

Perhaps a road trip to start the New Year is in order.  Sounds intriguing.

So let's confirm the time, date, and place.

Enterprise is a fairly nice place and pretty easy to get to from US 65.

We'll keep this on the scope. We'll have to get input from everyone. I'm game for any time in that time frame.

Well I called Enterprise Bowling Lanes in Springfield and got the following information:

I told them there would/could be 15 – 20 bowlers or more bowling on Sat (Jan 6) and possibly Sun (Jan 7).

Lanes are open on Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 am. Sunday they open at noon.

On Saturday they have a special of $9.00 per lane per hour. That is per lane not per person. So we could have as many as we wanted on them. On Sunday it is $3.00 per game.

Pam at the counter said all we would have to do is call ahead reserve the lanes. The phone number there is 417-883-0511 if more information is needed.

If anyone can get a better deal or knows someone there please feel free to jump in. I know it would be fun to finally meet some of you all from here.

Thanks for the info Berreez!  $9 per hour is a good deal.  This New Year's road trip is starting to sound good!

WOW THAT WAS QUICK WORK BEREEZ! THANKS! The rate sounds great as well. If you guys are cool with it, I would like to extend an invitation to PBA Southwest Region leader Sean Swanson since we would be bowling in his back yard.

The more the merrier. I know I’m planning on bringing at least two others with me.

Tempted, I'll be close on News years (Springfield, Il).  Not sure if I'll be back in Fla right after the first or if I'll stick around another week.
