My Wife---The Bowler
« on: February 22, 2005, 11:16:04 PM »
We talk allot about our own bowling and how competitively “we” are but seldom give credit to others on the team. Well last night was position round and I had two bowlers out of four not show up. So automatically we are down 20 pins per game.  So here we are me and my wife. Now she is the type of person that bowls for the social aspect and never really cares about the outcome, or so I thought.

So I start off with three strikes and felt pretty good about the night but that was about it. I shot a 204, 194, and 204. I missed the triplicate series by one spare. Now Debbie who cares a 138 average comes out with a 145 (2 strikes & 9 in the tenth) and we win the first game by 20. Second game she shoots 137 but we lose by 90+. Third game she shoots 161 and throws two strikes and another 9 in the tenth again. We win the third game and total by ONE pin.

I just wanted to give my wife the credit for the wins last night. If she didn’t step-up we would have surely lost all four.
