SST8 vs SST8se vs SST Tank
« on: December 19, 2013, 06:42:59 PM »
I currently have Etonic ETour Masters, but they are unfortunately nearing the end of their life and am in need of new shoes.  What is the main difference between the SST8, SST8se and SST Tank?
What soles come with each of these models?  Is there a difference in the width of the shoes?  Do any of the shoes have a superior toe cap reinforcement for the non sliding foot?

SST8 standard, the others don't come with much.  The Tank and SE just come with one extra sole and heel, the SST8s come with several extra of each.  I also bought a Dexter Power Step for my non slide shoe.  I don't need the extra "power" but it keeps you from wearing down the non slide shoe.
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

Having the extra sliders would help a lot.
What is different about the tank?

My boss has a pair, and I don't know if it's just a marketing thing based on the look, but it seems to be just like the SST 8 SEs, just with a different styling.  He said they were really stiff too.
