I have had the SST8s for almost a week now, and every time that I bowl their is a blister that comes up on my right heel. The shoes feel a little long but not to much. Does anything think that I am getting this blister because they are new shoes, or that they fit wrong? I really need some input on this. Thanks everyone!

Blister on the heel seems more like the shoes being too big..not a problem with the shoes themselves.

They don't feel big on my feet, but I can tell that the end of my foot is only about 1/4-1/2 inch away from the end of the shoe... Also the blister is only on my right heel. The shoes do not affect my left foot at all.

Your feet are not identical.  Usually you will have one foot slightly larger than the other.  My right foot is almost a full size larger than my left.  It's possible that they are too narrow or too wide.

 

I doubt it is a design flaw, most likely a poor fit.

I do not think that it is a design flaw in the shoes. My feet are almost identical, so maybe the shoes need to be broken in more. I had the SST5s before I got these shoes, and I don't recall having any blisters when I first got them. Could the blister be occuring because of how the new shos are made differently, compared to the SST5s?

I'm sure they are slightly different than the SST5s, even if you had 2 pairs of SST5s they could be slightly different.  I am still going to lean towards a combination of different shoe and poor fit.

you could try wearing a Extra Sock on your right foot....     or if you still have your old SST5's just wear the right foot SST5 w/ the SST8 left shoe......
