As a pro shop my policy is not to sell blems. Sometimes the markings on the ball are not correct and people drill completely without weighing the ball. Case in point a 75 year old woman brings a SD73 and tells me that it lopes. Why does a 75 year old woman have that ball and why doe it lope? After weighing the ball I knew why it loped and was a blem! The pro shop sold it to her because it was cheap and they made a profit was my guess. I have seen blems sold to customers and the customers were never told that the ball was a second! I advertise in the shop that we do not carry blems, seconds or bonanzas unless on consignment and customers will be told immediately.
Even though some blems may be perfectly fine I do not want to even mess with them.
