PBA Channel????
« on: September 13, 2022, 05:38:53 PM »
So I have Tubi streaming service loaded on my TV and was doing some looking around the other day and saw there was a PBA on Fox channel on there.  Looks like they have every episode from the last 2 or 3 seasons on there.  Wanted to pass this along if there were any shows that you guys might have missed or just want to go back and re-watch any.

I don't have it but I just checked out their lineup and noticed they have something called Celebrity Bowling too.

I watched it (celebrity bowling) once. It was hilarious  ;D  and to top it off, they were really trying to do their best. :D

This actually answers part of my question. I was hoping that they just don't limit the content to what was just shown on Fox. If they are the PBA channel, I'd hope they could broadcast some of the classic content, from what was first televised up through the last of the ABC days. I don't know if Disney owns that content or the PBA. However, those other shows like the World Team Challenge would be fair game.

If it's just Fox content, I'm happy we have content on, but I'm hoping they have more.

Like I said, I don't have it, just looked it up on the internet, but I don't think it is the PBA Channel, just one of the sports offerings on  TubiTv.

I would like to see a Bowling Channel that offered all of the old bowling tv shows, like Championship Bowling, the PBA on ABC and ESPN, the women and senior events, college bowling, etc.

Thanks for the heads up. I downloaded Tubi and bookmarked the PBA channel. Don't think I missed any actual TV telecasts, but there might be some things like celebrity bowling that I missed. I'll have to see if CBS sports has anything like this somewhere. I don't get the channel on my cable line up anymore, so I missed some stuff there.

Totally in agreement here, but thanks to the 90s, the problem we will have is buying the rights to the content. Once people found out that their content is a product that can be monetized, that puts everyone's hands out for how much one wants to pay to get that content.

Unfortunately, you're right.

I was trying to remember what other shows I used to watch in the 50's- 60's and then I remembered Make That Spare.

Found it on YouTube if anyone is interested.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9egCGh7WFKk
