Cheapest Shipping Method?

Hey Guys,

I just started shipping stuff out to my new friends here in BR and I'm trying to find out from those with experience, who's has the lowest rate?  Fed-Ex, UPS, or Post office?  Thanks for your help....

Triggerman, you are correct. I missed that extra S in charlest reply in the USPS. I read it as UPS and yes, I know they have a brown truck as I ship and receive merchandise by this brown truck. They bring it right to my front door and ring the door bell. Thats what happens when a person tries reading correctly when they get to be 67 years old...lol

Charlest, sorry about that. I should have known better than to disagree with the "wise owl". As ALWAYS(lol) you were right.

As a transportation professional responsible for moving hundreds of packages each week via small package carriers, you will find that the base charges for both UPS and FedEx Ground are virtually identical.  FedEx Home Delivery delivers on a Tuesday-Saturday week versus a Monday-Friday week for UPS and regular FedEx Ground. The service via both carriers is also comparable. Keep in mind that their stated transit times are based on working days, not calendar days. One needs to check all of the fine print for the additional charges that both carriers charge for residential deliveries, rural areas, low population areas and other unusual points. Whichever is closest or more easily available to you would work fine. USPS would not be a good option.
