New shoes
« on: December 03, 2009, 10:05:51 AM »
i just got  pair of Dexter SST 6's and want to know what the best way is to figure out your heel and slide combination? just try all of them with different combos? it came with the s8 slide and the 2 heel already on the shoe, should i just work with that combo for now? thanks for some input.

I would try the 8 sole and the H5 tridex heel.. that seems to be what most people go with.. I would say that would give you a medium to medium longish slide..
if you want more go with red leather heel.. but don't fall on your butt .. its slick..If you want less slide then go the other way..

it also took me forever to break in the H5 heel.. it was way to tacky at first and the red leather heel was too slick.. so I didn't use my shoes for about a year and a half.. I wanted to give them another go so I polished up the h5 heel with some super fine grit sand paper and polishing powder... seemed to do the trick..

i use the s6 sole and h1 heel. but then again i like minimal slide so i can get some leverage and power
