Storm finish questions

I have a 2 fast that I want to knock the polish off.

The center I bowl at has the Storm Factory machine, what would I select to take the surface down a bit?

Also it has the IT should I leave the slug in or take it out while in the machine?

The selection would depend upon what reaction you may be looking for!

Something with similar length, smoother, and about a few boards more overall hook would be 4000.

The more oil you want to use the piece in, and smoother and earlier reaction would come from using lower numbered finishes.

I believe factory finish is 1500 polished, the 4000 you recommended sounds good

Should I take the thumb slug out or leave it in the ball? I want to be able to bowl with the ball right after it comes out of the machine

If it is the removable type insert, remove it and then install after machine completes it cycle time and you should be good to go. Resurfacing does not remove as much material that it should impact slug.
