I used the shipping calculator on their auction and it came up with $13.10. Isn't enough, but is a whole lot more than .50.
I went to a garage sale a year or so ago. The woman had a galaxie 300 pink plastic ball and a beat up old bag for sale for $100. I pointed out to her that she would be fortunate to get $5 for the bag - and that most folks would throw away the ball. And that NO, I wasn't interested - I wasn't just trying to talk her down in price.
She insisted that her boyfriend said that it was a rare ball, and that since new ones were around $200 without the bag, $100 was a fair price. I even opened up the back of my Tahoe so she could see the number of bowling balls in there, so that she could see I knew what I was talking about - and she still insisted she knew what she was doing.
So.... Idiots can be idiots anywhere. They're just more public when they're idiots on ebay.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
