Here is a question that hopefully someone can shed a light on for me. I subbed Monday night in a league that I have bowled on several different occasions. In the past the house had put out a shot that I enjoyed and scored well on. But on Monday, man I’ve never experienced anything like it. The left lane I was throwing my most aggressive ball (Scorchin’) and taking off some speed to reach the pocket. On the right lane I was forced to use my least aggressive ball (Barbed Wire) to keep it on the lane. Anybody have any thoughts on what might of caused this anomaly other than a faulty oiling machine which I doubt as no other lanes were affected (I asked).
Thanks….

something that has happened in the my regular house is. A pad type oiling machine that the cleaning pad was changed in mid oiling after doing one side of the pair. after this one side seems extremely dry but in fact the one side was just extremely clean compared to the other side. At least the lane man tries never to change in middle of a pair. He also will make a double pass to get some oil in the pad to make it even across all the lanes.
