Title: strike ball jackpot (4-count?!)

You buy raffle tickets. If your ticket is drawn, you draw from a deck of cards. You need to knock down the number of pins that corresponds with the face value of the card you selected.

I finally had my ticket drawn last night, and wouldn't you know it...I draw a "4" out of the deck. Ranks right up there with a "2". I threw my spare ball across the alley and hit the 6-10 squarely, which took out the 9 as well. The 9 kicked back around and took out the 2, 4, 7, and 8. I still won $7 for my pin count, but missed out on the $137 that was in the pot. Carry over for next week

What's the best way to get a 4-count?

Post by: Spider Ball Bowler on October 27, 2008, 11:35:59 AM: Yea they had one of these at the place I used to bowl. They called it the bowlers wheel, and it was the same thing, except you pressed a button and whatever number it landed on you had to throw.

The pot got up to over $1,000 and my teammate got his ticket pulled and wouldn't you know it, he had t throw a strike. He got up, crossed over, and got a really late trip on the 6 He paid us too, so it was cool.

The best way to get a 4 count would be to grab a house ball, and roll it like a child, hoping the speed of the ball will not make it drive at all

I really dont think there is an easy way to get 4, it probably involves more luck than the ohio lotto.

I've seen it done on accident, but I think coming into the 3 slightly right of center - think of taking the 3-9 almost straight back but with the ball catching just enough of the 6 to get the 10.

Post by: lsf_21 on October 27, 2008, 12:31:22 PM: i wouldnt compare getting 4 to having to get 2... 2 is nearly impossible.. only time i have gotten 2 is on a sport shot and went straight though the 4-8 and left the 7 standing... as for getting 4.. i leave the 2-4-6-7-8-10 it seems way to often lol.

Easy.

Get out your most aggressive reactive pearl coverstock covered ball, turn the ever-livin' bejeesus out of the ball, get your breakpoint to 52 feet, hit board eight, and voila! Congrats, you've just cut the 1-2-5-8 out of a full rack!

Or, simply try to make the 4-7-8 or the 6-9-10 and hope you're lucky enough to have another pin fall.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to think that TRACK sucks. And its even funnier when im carrying with my TRACK ball and they're going flat ten with their OTHER BRANDS ball.
