Strikes with 12 pound balls
« on: March 27, 2025, 07:43:49 AM »
Im trying to decide if Im going to buy this 12 pound bowling ball off Amazon but I'm trying to decide if its worth it cause of its weight. I'm wondering do 12 pound bowling balls strike as hard as 14-16 pound balls?

Try a 12lb house ball for free and see what you think. Also works for trying heavier weights first as well.

No, they don't, and maybe better consult a local pro shop for an ideal weight and also layout/drilling for your hand. A good fit can easily let you hold/play balls 2-3 lbs heavier than a generic house ball.
