Strong Pearl
« on: November 30, 2009, 02:40:40 AM »
Looking for a strong pearl these days... any suggestions?

I'm looking for length and a lot of backend.

Ball speed is around 18 to 19 with a lot of revs (fairly up the back roll)

My ball driller suggested a hot sauce pearl but im looking for more feedback.

Any help would be great thanks guys

I second the C-System.  Very strong ball motion down lane and one you dont typically see from Brunswick.

i have to warn you unless you have 90 degree axis rotation the c-system is not angular. the break point and black pearl are good suggestions. i have also seen the bedlam have good angular motion.

Hmmm.....bad question. There are a veritable ton of strong pearl balls out on the market, and most of them are skid/flip! The best is all in the eye of the beholder!

You really can't go wrong, whichever one you get. Cell Pearl, Hot Sauce pearl, One pearl, Break Pt. pearl, ....it really doesn't matter.

Put a stacked drilling on one and a good polish for length and have at it!

There is no "best". As someone already said, there are too many dependencies.

Some very skid/flip balls:

Reign
Nomad Pearl
One Pearl
Breakpoint Pearl
Cell Pearl

And too many preferences!!  I think the Pearls made by Visionary are the best out there.  Am I biased??  You bet.....I've thrown 5 300s, a 297 and an 803 with 5 different pearls they make within the last year and a half.

Azo Area or Cell Pearl for skid/flip pearls.

For a hybrid, the Virtual Energy is also a very strong skid/flip ball.

skid/flip=Emerald VIBE

As for a strong pearl, the Visionary NEW BREED pearl looks pretty strong to me.

Storm 2nd Dimension is pretty strong as well.
