this is your chance to try out new hammer bowling balls
without having to buy them first

sunday november 7, 2004

the cost is $20.00/person

maximum of 10 per squad, so sign up early

squad times: noon, 1:30, 3:00, 4:30, & 6:00 pm

1. one hour of bowling to try the balls out

That sounds pretty interesting.  It's close enough to me, too.  I'll have to check out the calendar and maybe I'll sign up.

Will the balls available for tryout include the two new ones reputed to be in the chute?

I can believe that.  So far, I have seen the Switch Blade and Big Block Diesel only in the pro shop and I'm surprised that Hammer markets them with such a high shine.  It LOOKS good of course, and shiny objects catch the eye.

here's what i emailed hammer bowling, and the response i got

hammer bowling,

what is the current line up of balls for the hammer
challenge?  i will be atending the challenge on
11-7-04 in flint, mi.

Flying Pins,

The final selection of balls is determined by the host pro shop.  For
November, Hammer will have The Real Deal and Saw Blade added to the
mix.
Currently, we are conducting demos with The Deal, Big Block Diesel,
Switch Blade and Pure Hammer.  I would guess that The Real Deal and Saw
Blade would replace The Deal and Switch Blade for your demo.

Check with your pro shop for additional information.

I think Hammer is holding a Demo Day at East Islip Lanes in early December, for anyone in the NY area who is interested.
