What's the Best Ball Cleaner that's Approved During Competition?

Looking for a good ball cleaner that is approved during competition. All cleaners I have are not allowed.

Most of them don't. Some do affect the physical texture of the coverstock surface;they contain abrasives but are considered cleaners.
 
However a new one, Powerhouse Adrenaline Wipes, might. I am unsure of that now, but the descriptions and intended uses for them imply that the chemical in them does affect the chemical makeup to some degree.

In all honesty...no...in 14 years of traveling and bowling pretty regularly I have never had a ball come back with something that I couldn't get off with some rubbing alcohol and some elbow grease.  The center where my shop is has a problem with the pit cushions leaving a small residue on the ball, but in time you come to realize that it's not affecting the ball roll.

Little known fact:  In Russian "Hope" and "Change" translate to "Tax" and "Spend"

+1 Russell, I use rubbing alcohol any time I'm at the lanes. I do a good cleaning at home with diluted simple green to get a deeper clean.

I bowl in a league with a much older crowd and it's a league rule that you can't clean or alter the ball in any way during league.

 

We had to get an approval in order to use micro-fiber towels. I'm not even kidding.

Do you mean to say that the by-laws of all your leagues explicitly forbid cleaning your ball with a cleaner during bowling?

Keep in mind that just because it is approved for use during competition does not mean that you can use it during.  All of the leagues and tournaments that I bowl in DO NOT allow the use of any cleaners, approved or not, to be used once the event has started.  You will need to check with your league/tournament rules.

Perfect, you must be bowling league with the people from my local home owners association.

The league has been around longer than I have on this Earth (30 years), but it is made up of a lot of the old guard in our association mixed with all of the tournament bowlers, and a lot of people that just want to bowl around the best in the area hoping to learn something and get better.
