I was talking to one of my bowling buddies last night. He was getting ready to bowl. I said "What?". His wife and him were going to pre bowl for the Saturday Night Mix league. I was confused because they don't bowl in that league. Then he said "Yes!" We are subs and we are going to pre bowl for a team.
Substitutes pre-bowling? That was a new one for me.

Not sure if there's any rule against it, but I guess it makes sense. If you're on vacation that week, and your sub can only be there before the league night, viola.
Don't see where it hurts anything.

I would check with the usbc rules dept. I don't think subs can do that.
Maybe if they on the team roster they might could.
I think only the regular members can pre-bowl.
But there doesn't look to be anything in the book that addresses it that says you can't.
