The Doom is a great ball, but gets to be a bit too strong when the lanes start to dry out. Any recommendations for something under it? I'd prefer a smoother reacting ball, if possible. I was looking at the new Venus, but also considering a Tropical Storm or a Vibe.

How strong is the Blue Vibe, though? I always thought the CT cover was pretty strong! Is it more for medium conditions?

You could get either Vibe. The Blue is a little stronger in the midlane, but drilling and cover prep will dictate more reaction that tip of cover.

That's right. I sait it!

I responded in another topic to this same question. But, go with the Black Ice by Ebonite. Compared to the Vibe, gets down the lane similar to the Vibe with a little smoother backend off the dry, which translates to more control on drier conditions.
