Suggestions for a new ball
« on: August 10, 2005, 03:19:42 AM »
I have an Animal and am looking to replace it with something similar to it.  I like the control of the animal but I would like a little more entry angle.  Regardless if I have my animal dull or polished it still seems to take the same angle to the pocket, just a little later with polish.  So I'm looking for something with a stronger turn, but I don't want a flippy ball.  I have a vertigo, and I think that has a great backend reaction, really makes a move for the pocket.  With the vertigo I can throw a very deep line, which I'm not use to, with the animal I have to play down and in.  Looking for something I can throw down and in. I like to throw slower usually with med revs and I usually play on heavy oil.  Do you think some polish on the vertigo would give me more control?  Or would that just make it too flippy / uncontrollable?

The Arsenal Aggressive from Track will give you what you are looking for. At first, I thought GP2, but when you mentioned you wanted to play down and in, the GP2 will hook more than the Vertigo when oil is present, so that is out of the picture. Also, you may want to look at the Blue Heat as well.
