300 Rings?

Has anyone ordered a goofy size that didn't fit you?  I never wear those things anyway so I really didn't care to get one that fit.  While looking at the form the other night,  I noticed that they came in sizes 4 to 18.  As a joke, I ordered the size 18.  Next year I'll order the 4

I’ve ordered a size 7 that would fit my wife and up to a 15 that is just a little big for me (I’m a 14).

I have a little box with cubby holes built in with a glass lid and hang my honor score rings on the wall. I never actually wear any of them.

I just kind throw down a number as well...usually between 10 and 11 though.  Maybe I'll get an 18 next time...that would be funny to see!!

wow... I order the one that fits cause im not sure ill get one each season! some people aren't as gifted at bowlign as other though... oh well hopefully I will join your ranks soon

What are you going to do?  Solder the 4 to the inside of the 18? LOL.

Actually, that could be cool if you could fit a 298 size 4 inside of a 299 size 11 inside of a 300 size 18 - especially if they were all from the same year...

Hey Bones, I got a chuckle over what you just said. Last month at the Megabuck tournaments, I saw many rings on almost every bowler there. Kinda reminded me of your ABC tournament situation =)

I brought up this thread to 2 of my friends last night as they each shot an honor score in the last two weeks (299 & 300).  I was trying to talk them into a size 18!  While I'm not sure if they will do it or not, it did provide the beginnings of some great jokes that, well just aren't "clean" enough to be repeated!  LOL
