We bowled the California State Open this past weekend and they used Summer averages in applying rule 319A

The fall season ended tonight for me and the summer season starts in May.  11 weeks total.  Only difference is that my team will be at a different house than usual.

Yes.  That is the only time our Sport league bowls.  If the peterson point league starts I will join that one too.

Summer league starts May 9th. I guess it just depends on the league, or the area. Our summer league averages don't count!

Many tournaments are now looking at all averages, winter, summer, and non-certified.  The baggers are sad that they have to work harder now :D

I'm bowling a Kegel sport league (Won it last year with sevenpin and Monster Pike), and possibly a one on one league on a house shot. 3 man 4 games for the sport league, 1 on 1 against someone for the first 2 games, then move pairs and bowl someone else for 2 games. It'll be nice to bowl on the tough stuff on Tuesdays, then bowl on the house shot on Thursdays.

Bowling our PBA Exp league here.  Don't want to bowl during the summer, but it's the only time they offer something tough, and I have to support it.

It's all about the support. I don't know why houses don't put out the Experience or Kegel leagues during the fall.

Any time you throw a bowling ball, it's practice. :)

I haven't signed up for any leagues yet, most likely won't. Instead I'll keep my ears posted for the 11 week 4 game 9 pin sweeper on Friday nights. I can bowl when I want instead of being dedicated to a summer league.
