Bowling league this summer, or golfing. Both maybe, or neither?
-
Two summer leagues actually, both PBA leagues, in two different houses.
-
Not going to bowl league this summer. If there was a sport shot league I would bowl that.
Im thinking mostly softball this summer with some practice at the lanes once a week
-
As of next weekend, i will be retired from bowling for a while. Time to focus on kids sports and traveling so no time for kegeling for me.
-
My wife gave me a ball spinner as a Christmas gift, so I am going to spend the summer practicing and working with the spinner on surface experiments, etc.

I'm gonna try my luck on a Mulligan league this summer. It's a singles league and only 14 weeks long. It's $25 to enter and $25 a night, but you bowl four games and throw out your low game for your series. And at the end of league you get a free ball (any ball you want!!) including drilling, along with any prize money. And the lowest payout (for last place) is $25. So even if I come in last, I'll break even on the entry fee. I've never bowled this league before but it sounds like fun. And that bit about a free ball sounds pretty good too!!

tonight marks the end of bowling for me until September, when leagues return.
-
No leagues, too much traveling this summer. going to give my modeling career a go - big and plump beach boy productions. Men over weight and over 40 still can be a sexy beast. The best way to clear the beach for the family.
Seriously, just practice every Sunday, schedule an appointment with mark baker while I'm at Disneyland, and bowl some tournaments - 3 on schedule, traveling in the summer with no AC in my truck...what I'll do for bowling....
-
Hopefully my new job schedule allows me to bowl during weekdays and roadbiking- paintballing weekends
Edit: I forgot the most important summer activity fishing!!!!!!

Summer "Get your Gear" league. 16 weeks sport shot. $12 lineage with $10 extra per week and you get two bowling balls at the end. Can choose between Brunswick Vintage DangerZone, DV8 Grudge, Hammer Scandal, and Track Paradox Pearl. $160 for two great balls? Yeah, I'll get in on some of that.
I'm thinking about going with the Grudge and the Paradox Pearl. I don't have any asymmetrical equipment and am looking for something that hooks more than my Melee Hook.

I normally bowl in a sport league and a mixed league, but this summer, I am getting the house ready to sell and move to Florida. I have state tournament in May and Nationals (Open and Mixed) in June, so I will have to practice.
