how many honor scores....
« on: March 15, 2004, 07:17:38 AM »
I was just reading a local paper the other day, and I know our local houses throw out some cake shots, but how bout everyone elses?  In the Winona Area, there are 3 houses that report scores to the paper, and we have quite a few honor scores.  28 300s to date (2 by me) , 10 800s (5 by one 19 year old lefty) and countless other upper 700s.  Winona only has around 28,000 people so we don't have a real big association, but there are quite a number of honor scores.  How do these compare to your areas?

The Dallas Association for the 2002-2003 season recorded 86 800's, 28 298's, 111 299's and 292 300's. I am sure this year is not much different. Just for reference my home center featured only two honor scores for 02-03 and none this year so far. We had many get close, but none yet. Just FYI on the 02-03 season, this years PBA rookie of the year leader Chris Johnson rolled 3 of the 800's and 5 300's. He did not lead the 300's, a lefty out of one center rolled 7.
