Switch Grips
« on: February 04, 2005, 09:53:24 PM »
Does anyone use the Switch Grips, from Turbo, or seen anyone who does use them ? Was thinking these might just be the ticket for my wife. Her fingers swell, given the way the house we bowl in either blasts the heat or opens the freezer door. Was looking for someone who had seen or used these.

Thanks
my 2 cents are up.

You said fingers in your post.
Switch Grips are an interchangeable thumb insert. They are not for the fingers.
I have them in all of my bowling balls and i love them!

If her fingers swell really bad. you might have her try vacuum grips. Alot of Pro use it, including Brad Angelo. Ask ur proshop guy if its right for her, but i sure that the ticket.

Glen,

Here's a stupid thought...what if...

Drill the fingers large, get the largest thumb insert, if possible, then put the finger insert inside the thumb insert ? that makes it interchangable finger inserts?

If this does make any sense ?

The sleeve that the insert fits into takes a 1 1/2 drill.  The fingers would be not be able to be close enough together to be effective.

Yes, you're right, it was only a thought. Should have thought about that before I asked the stupid question. Oh well, it's a saturday, brain takes a vacation on saturdays !!
