Is this thing ove rated or is it me?

I got one, but it feels really funny, like it is not solid, the only benefit I see is that i have the same thumb in every ball but, don't you loose some ball technology due to the HUGE hole they gotta drill to install the base?

Would like to have some input here from you guys with experience on this because im thinking of going back to regular drilling.

I'm a lefty, and my thumb drill is at 1pm
