Symmetrical Ball to handle heavy oil
«
on:
April 17, 2012, 12:20:14 PM »
I wanted to get opinions from the BR.com community on what they think is the best symmetrical ball for heavy oil right now, or is there one? I seem to have more success with symmetrical balls vs. asymmetrical balls and wanted to see what others thought on this topic. This is not brand specific, and it doesn't have to be the latest and greatest, just still available. Thanks everyone for your help.

I just drilled a Modern Marvel and it is a beast for me. So either it or the Marvel solid could be a very strong heavy oil ball for you.

Marvel solid is tremendously strong, cover heavy ball. I've had 2, different layouts, different surfaces and loved both.
Also consider RG Outlaw, Storm VR Solid, and Morich Aggressive Motion with some added surface.

Brunswick Revolver
Ogre Particle
Train a child up in the way they should go and when they are old they will do some "Damn Good Bowling", be a "DV8" and not turn from it, besides bowling starts with a Big B!
The opinions expressed are solely those of the writer and not of Brunswick Corporation.

A Marvel or Lethal Revolver would be my suggestions. Both are very smooth rolling balls. I've had success on sport and house shots with both. Marvel will tend to read the friction just a little earlier and stronger than the Lethal will.
