This book sounds interesting/maybe great?

It's a new book. Just came out. You can find it over at PBA.com, or on Amazon. I just ordered it off the PBA site.

I took a private lesson from Mark back in 2010. He's very effective and knows his stuff. What I liked about him was that he worked with my existing mechanics instead of completely trying to retool me. I'm looking forward to reading about his complete system.

 I read the first 2 chapters last night and it really seemed to make sense. However it's just basic stuff. The book doesn't have anything to do with lane conditions etc like I was thinking but I think it may help with fundamentals that we are more sloppy with than we think.

Bakes is an amazing coach and his resume of students shows his effectiveness. However, I am still weary of how much you can learn from reading a book ..... I think you still need the physical coaching aspect and presence. Just my opinion.

Should also mention that he is my coach. So i know him, use him, and recommend him if you can meet him for a lesson.
