Talking and thinking about bowling...
« on: November 29, 2007, 06:35:31 AM »
Since I have been talking and thinking about bowling I was reminiscing about the past.  What bowling balls I shot 300 with or my highest series with or made money with.

The one and only 800 I have shot was with the Attitude 1 from Brunswick.  Funny thing is, I am a Columbia bowling ball guy and was trying different manufactures.  At this time, the ball was fairly new and I was trying to get used to how it rolled.  To be honest, I didn't really like the "over/under" I was getting form this ball during practice and league but decided to use it during team even in the State tournament.  The ball was a great match up for the lanes, shot 809 with a split in the 10th frame of my last game.  No 300 though.

When I "broke the bank" and struck in every frame I was suppose to and won over $1,000.  I was using my Black Rhino from Brunswick.

The Tournaments, 300's, 299's, 11 in a rows I have shot have been with Columbia bowling balls. But that is because most if not all my bowling balls are from Columbia300.

I'm thinking maybe I need to have Brunswick bowling balls in my arsenal.  I bought a Power Grove Urethane but that's the only ball I have from Brunswick.  Hmmmm, I wonder what Brunswick ball out-there will help me achieve a 300 or maybe my second 800?

Talent achieves honor scores.

But a Wizard at 600 grit + rubbing compound may be your nostalgic fix.
Will be close to a Danger Zone.
