You stated in another thread that you are taking the year off.

Is this because of your leg injury? How is it doing? Aren’t you felling well old buddy?

Are you sure golf isn’t aggravating it?

Take care and do what is best for you.

Are you kidding?  It's still 80 degrees and sunny everyday in Oklahoma!  He's still golfing 36 holes per day - no time for bowling until the first frost hits!

At least I hope this is the case...

He golfs 36 holes a day?  Wow, that makes his score of 72 look much more impressive.

Doc, I'm sorry to hear you say that you won't be bowling this year, but I do understand.

Years ago, as you've often said, you could walk into any house and watch the bowlers throw a couple of balls, and know who the good bowlers were.  Now, our scores have more to do with the atomic balls we all throw, the pins that seem to fall over like so many matchsticks, and the oil patterns that guide certain balls to the pocket.  Those who look like the best bowlers may not be anywhere near the top of the average list.

Didn't you have a long streak of, what, 700 series thrown each year for Sawbones-only-knows how many years?  I'm sorry to hear that will be coming to an end, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
