I am so tired of averaged 255 today and lost money. This happens everytime i bowl good. I shot 245 lost 2 brackets, shot 248 lost 1 bracket, shot 274 lost all three of my other brackets. I absolutely tired of it we have no scratch leagues in our town because there are so many sand baggin mofos. We used o have good scratch tourneys,no more. The last one standing has become a joke used to be a wating list now lucky if get 30 for it.Used to be great, now just a joke. Onlky thing that gets a turnout anymore is handicap tourneys. All my leagues are a wall shot to where if you dont shoot 279 or higher your not making money and it always the people that throw the ball like crap that are scoring. I want out of this town they dont even know what a scatch league is anymore. Are you all experiencing this or is it just where I bowl?

that is not my average that just what i avged on the day my avg is 229.

If you indeed want more challenge in the sport. Quit you higher dollar leagues and bowl more tournaments. Bowl more cheaper mixed or recreational leagues that offer the same house shot as the high dollar leagues.

Even in a scratch league, your going to have the same thing. HIGHER scores, less bracket wins and the empty feeling of losing your money and not winning. The test of skill comes from the lane condition, not the type of league. Just because a league is "scratch" does not mean it adds any value to your experience or going to fill the void you seem to have.

Will you feel better losing because its a scratch league? Will you feel better bowling scores because its a scratch league? or will you feel better about your bowling experience if you bowl well on tournament conditions?

Bowl the pins and not the people. Give you best effort every night and dont worry about the league "experience". At the end of the night, the league doesnt mean much. We like to win, we hate to lose, but what are we really winning and losing at the league level...not very much.

Focus your bowling "career" outside of the league level, find what your looking for there.

I love your thought sir. This will be my mentality next year, I am trying to get back from an injury right now so leagues are all i got right now. Not consistant enough to bowl tourneys yet building block like i said it was just a rant after a good set, I shook it off. I get caught up sometimes.

Just get your card and travel... Best way to bowl against good bowlers on tough stuff. It will ego check you really quick!!
