Team name post?!

There was a thread a while back about funny/clever team names, i cant seem to find it.  Anyone have any idea of how to get to that post?

The two teams I bowl with this year are called

Gutter Divers

Tuckin' Fen Pin

In the summer we base our name on whoever the Pittsburgh Steelers draft first in the NFL draft. Some past names include...Big Uglies, Slim Somoan, We can't spell it, Miller Time...things like that. The tradition actually started with the NY Giants....they drafted a receiver named Thomas Lewis from Indiana in the first round...and no one had any information on him on ESPN...So...the team was called Who's Thomas Lewis. He got hurt his first year so the next year the team was...We still don't know....then he broke his foot so....Bad Foot.....he finally played the next year and did okay so....When He's Healthy He's not to bad.....then he got cut so it was.....Who's Thomas Lewis.

Best Fall Team Names


I think this is what you were looking for.

My team's name is "No Balls".  Our anchor bowler showed up the first night of league with no balls.  He came straight from work and had left his equipment home.  We took all seven that night and he told the other team (who he had bowled with last year) that he could beat them with No Balls.  The name stuck.

Our standard team name is FUBAR...

...but at a recent tournament one of the guys named us "left turn only"...I really liked that name!
