Interesting....

"The lane tester tells us that resin balls have lower friction than the traditional high-friction urethane balls on the market--in fact, significantly less friction in oil," said Speranza. "But further down the lane, in the drier part, reactive balls seem to have higher friction than traditional urethane balls. Resin balls give you a greater entry angle, a greater angle of impact."

where do you think we are now with the reactive resins vs urethane..

Is this why urethane still tends to hook up and start moving sooner than reactive ??

That was the difference on day 1 of the reactive era, surprised its taken pretty much a whole generation of bowlers to find that urethane still has a big place in arsenals espec the 2 hand guys
